I want you to know more about me. I am originally from the Palmdale / Lancaster area of Southern California. That is located about an hour NE of Los Angeles, and about an hour South of Edwards Air Force Base. It is an aerospace industry, where they built the "Stealth Bomber" and also filmed the movie Terminal with Tom Hanks. The area has grown over the years to approx. 300,000 people combining both cities.
I worked in the Real Estate / Mortgage / Escrow industry, for about 10 years combined. I started out at one of the largest Mortgage Companies in the US in the servicing department working to pay the property taxes on first mortgages. I handled around 6 states, including Oregon, and Washington. From there I moved internally to their Customer Service Department where I was trained for specialized calls, handling the ARM, Buydown, GPA loans, as well as being specifically trained to handle the irrate callers when they would request a supervisor or manager. I received numerous awards for both internal and external customer service. That is where I met and married my husband and moved to Simi Valley.
Now that we were starting family, we moved to Santa Clarita Valley, CA. and purchased our first condo. Our first daughter was born in May of 2001. When I went back to my previous job, the commute was too long so I started a new career as a Loan Processor for a mortgage broker until I found out I was pregnant with my second child. When we found this out, we decided to move back to the "Antelope Valley" (Lancaster) and bought another home. My daughter was born in Oct. 2002. This is also when I got into Escrow. I was an Escrow Assistant, and then decided that I wanted to do more. I opened my own Mobile Notary Business which my husband later joined. When I decided to go back to work, I went back to Escrow being an assistant followed by Escrow Officer 3 months later, were I became ranked #2 by my second month in closed transactions. My husband continued the Mobile Notary business, until we decided that it was time to move to raise our girls where it was better for them, and where they could see the four seasons, not just summer and winter.
My parents had moved to Eugene in December of 2004, and my daughter had come for a visit. When we came out to get her, we fell in love with Eugene / Springfield. We put our house on the market, and we were living here 4 months later. We moved here with my family in the Spring of 2005. It is absolutely beautiful here, and we know we made the right choice. The people are great here, and now my husband is the manager of a bank in Thurston, and I am a full time Realtor. In July I received my REO Certification for Real Estate. I have also taken on the opportunity to also be a Girl Scout Leader for a Daisy / Brownie troop for a second year. We meet twice a month and its a blast! In our first year we sold more cookies than any other troop in the Springfield area with over 3310 boxes sold. This year I also have the privilage of becoming the Service Center's Member Coordinator. Some of my other hobbies are cooking, baking / decorating cakes. Spending time with my family, and I also sell Pampered Chef, and Advocare. I am a business sponsor for the Thurston Elementary School PTA.
